A very inspiring and informative TedTalk from Laney Rosenzweig, the inventor of ART. Erase negative images and feel better faster!

How It Works

ART helps your brain process and update how distressing memories are stored.

A typical session includes three steps:

  1. Identify the memory or issue

We gently identify the experience, trigger, or emotional pattern that is causing distress.

  2. Eye-movement processing

You follow calming hand movements while your brain processes the memory safely.

  3. Replace the distressing imagery

Your brain is guided to replace distressing imagery with something more neutral or positive, reducing emotional intensity.

After processing, many people notice that the memory no longer feels overwhelming or triggering.

    • Targets images, emotions, and body sensations

    • It’s accelerated, measurable results in 1-5 sessions

    • Unique approach to psychotherapy

    • No need for ongoing appointments, the relief lasts

    • Supports natural cognitive change with little effort

    • Processes and resolves roots of trauma

    • Healing beyond desensitization to positive image replacement (‘positization’)

    • Creative process for all

    • Uniquely combines elements of other evidence based practices, 6 therapeutic approaches in 1 session

    • Don’t have to talk; focus is on healing, not trauma details

    • You’re in complete control, this is not hypnosis

    • Get rid of stuck issues and emotional blows, like survivor’s guilt

    • No retraumatization

    • No homework, goal of the session is trauma resolution
